Chansad is a historic place for the BAPS of swami Narayan sanstha as it is the birthplace of fifth spiritual successor of bhagwan swami Narayan, pramukh swami maharaj. A richly cultured, peaceful village with a population of about 2500 people. Agriculture being a main source of income is the reason for the lush green fields surrounding the area.
